Accent Sign & Awning Co. (formerly Houston Canvas & Awning Co.) was started
in 1979 by Victoria Giannukos. In 2001, her oldest son, John Giannukos, took over Houston Uniform & Apparel Co. and Houston Canvas & Awning Co and continued to grow the business and serve our loyal customer base.

In March 2010, John and his two brothers (Dimitri and George) purchased
a neighboring 30+ year old electric sign company called Accent Sign & Graphics. With their background in welding and custom fabrication, the brothers felt adding electric signage to their product mix was an obvious addition and would expand
the base of potential customers.

The brothers feel customer service, on-time delivery, and quality products is what separates them from others in their industry. Today, Accent Sign & Awning Co operates out of over 50,000 sf facility and offers a compete turnkey design, production, permitting and installation service all in one shop. We believe this helps ensure our customers receive a fair price (no middlemen) and complete jobs on time with less hassle (we handle all the critical steps).
